Here they are: Momotaro (Fukuda Seed store), Country Taste (Park Seed), Boy-Oh-Boy (Hart's Seeds- purchased in Maine), Best Boy (Hart's Seed- purchased in Maine), and Yellow Pear Tomato (Stover from Home Depot). Between all the transplanting we're not sure which plants are which at this point but we're looking forward to being surprised. Our neighbors have been unsuccessful with tomatoes and they have at least 20 years on us in the neighborhood so we'll see what happens. We also planted a California Wonder Pepper plant (Hart's Seeds from Maine) and a Kaala Pepper (UH Seed lab-thanks RCH!) in GB#2 as well and we are happy to report they are doing quite well.
GH helped us with the NFT (nutrient firm technology) installation last night. So inspiring to see a fellow aquaponic-man in action. Thanks GH! We were able to plant 10 Manoa lettuce but were unsuccessful again with Shiso (we have also tried germination in dirt but were unsuccesful). As we speak all of the GB and aquaponic plants are being sprayed with homemade bug killer. We'll share the recipe if it works!
